Faithful promises: Verse of the Day

FAITHFUL PROMISES:

‭I Kings 8:18-21 NKJV‬
[18] But the Lord said to my father David, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a temple for My name, you did well that it was in your heart. [19] Nevertheless you shall not build the temple, but your son who will come from your body, he shall build the temple for My name.’ [20] So the Lord has fulfilled His word which He spoke; and I have filled the position of my father David, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised; and I have built a temple for the name of the Lord God of Israel. [21] And there I have made a place for the ark, in which is the covenant of the Lord which He made with our fathers, when He brought them out of the land of Egypt.”

God’s promises and His word are as faithful as Himself. That is because God is faithful, He is faithful to fulfill His word and His promises to all who put their trust in Him. If God has made a promise to you or to your forefathers be sure that it will be fulfilled. Why?

‭Numbers 23:19 NKJV‬
[19] “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

‭Jeremiah 1:12 NKJV‬
[12] Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”

Friends, God will never fail to deliver on His word and promises. He is too faithful to forsake any of His covenant children. So, no matter how painful or difficult your physical conditions indicate, don’t fret, be frustrated, or disappointed and give up.

Keep believing, standing, and declaring His word and His promises. They will surely come to pass. God is that faithful. Keep doing what you need to do and trust God to do what only He can do. This is His word of encouragement to you …..

‭Galatians 6:7-9 NKJV‬
[7] Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. [8] For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. [9] And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
