You can be free: Verse of the Day

YOU CAN BE FREE:

Genesis 27:38-40 NKJV
[38] And Esau said to his father, “Have you only one blessing, my father? Bless me—me also, O my father!” And Esau lifted up his voice and wept. [39] Then Isaac his father answered and said to him: “Behold, your dwelling shall be of the fatness of the earth, And of the dew of heaven from above. [40] By your sword you shall live, And you shall serve your brother; And it shall come to pass, when you become restless, That you shall break his yoke from your neck.”

Esau made a big mistake in his life by selling his birthright to his younger brother, for a bowl of lentil soup. Little did he know that by selling his birthright he had lost all the spiritual and physical inheritance due him and his cultural position as the firstborn son. When he realized that his younger brother had received the father’s blessing due to him, he cried desperately for mercy.

Isaac told Esau that he would indeed serve his younger brother because he had been blessed with the blessings that might have been due to him but, only when he became RESTLESS would he be able to break that yoke of his younger brother off his neck.

Many Believers are not restless enough to break the yoke of the enemy over their lives. They know they are suffering and things don’t seem right with them. Others are being used by the devil but feel too proud, dignified and ashamed to own up and cry for help.

Friends, deliverance is free from Christ and it is lasting if we are truly restless and sick and tired of being tools in the hands of evil spirits. Whatever you are going through, today is your day of deliverance. Today is the day to become restless, repent from all that is going on in your life and ask God for forgiveness and deliverance. He will have mercy on you, forgive you, cleanse you from all unrighteousness, and set you completely free.

John 8:34-36 NKJV
[34] Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. [35] And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. [36] Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Hallelujah! Free indeed!
