The interceding Christian 3: Verse of the Day

THE INTERCEDING CHRISTIAN 3:

‭I Timothy 2:1-4 NKJV‬
[1] Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, [2] for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. [3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, [4] who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

One of the important things every Christian must make time to do is to make time to pray for the world and all those in authority. This is good and acceptable in the sight of our God and Saviour. The Christian who is not praying for the world they live in is not living a life that is pleasing to his Maker.

We must pray for our Kings, Chiefs, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Government ministers, Mayors, local Council leaders, and all those in authority. We must also make time to pray for our workplaces, bosses, and colleagues for things to go well and for us to live in peace and success.

Above all we must pray for their salvation and that of the whole world because God’s desire is that all men be saved. Do you seriously want to see men turn to the Lord and be saved? How moved are you by the current state of the world we live in? This is what your Lord says to you ………

‭Matthew 9:37-38 NKJV‬
[37] Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. [38] Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Those who pray for the salvation of souls are blessed faithful disciples. Be an Interceding disciple.
