GROW YOUR FAITH:
Joshua 1:7-9 NKJV
[7] Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. [8] This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. [9] Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
The third essential to accomplishing your goals and vision for your life is faith. Faith in God. It is through faith that we receive the resources and the instructions needed to accomplish our undertakings in life (Hebrews 11:1-6). Without faith it is impossible to receive anything from the Lord (James 1:5-7).
So, when God told Joshua not to allow the book of the law to depart from his mouth but to meditate upon it day and night, He was telling him to feed on His word until he received faith to obey every word that is written in the Bible. Faith, my friends, comes by feeding on and hearing what God is saying to you through His word (Romans 10:16-17).
How much quality time do you spend reading and meditating on the word of God? How much of the words you speak are based on the word of God? Do you think God speaks to us through His word? Your life and the things you say are a reflection of how much God speaks to you through His word.
Those who feed on the Word of God live by faith. They are strong, courageous, constantly declaring words of faith, and are obedient to God. Therefore, they experience good successes and great accomplishments. May this be your testimony as well in Jesus’s name. Amen!
