The Blessing of unity: Verse of the Day

THE BLESSING OF UNITY:

‭Psalms 133:1-3 NKJV‬
[1] Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! [2] It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. [3] It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.

God commands His blessings in places where there is true unity. God is love and wherever He is, there’s love and unity. God pours out His abundant blessings on the people who unite in His name to accomplish His will.

True unity is tangible. It can be seen and felt. It is like the anointing oil that runs from the head of Aaron, unto his beard, and unto his garments. It is as refreshing as the dew of Hermon on Mount Zion. Unity is pleasant to behold and above all, pleasing to God.

Do you love to unite with others in order to accomplish God’s will or love being a lone ranger? Are you actively praying for and working towards unity in the body of Christ? Do you seek to live in peace with all men? Do you want to experience the blessings of God to the full? Be in the place of unity.

Jesus prayed that all who believe in Him be one in unity as He and His Father were one. When we are united and work towards promoting unity everywhere we are, we are fulfilling His will. Let us therefore do all we can to unite as Believers and also promote unity in our families, communities, and wherever we are.

Beloved, where there is unity the presence of God will always be made manifest.

‭II Chronicles 5:13-14 NKJV
[13] indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, [14] so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
