JESUS AS LORD:
Romans 10:8-11 NKJV
[8] But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): [9] that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [11] For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
Everyone who believes in his heart and confesses that Jesus is Lord is saved and will never be ashamed. Why? Because if Jesus, the owner and master of all things is your Lord, how can you fail, be in lack and be defeated in life? It is impossible because He will ensure that all is well with us for his name’s sake.
If we are lacking in any area of our lives, it means we haven’t made Jesus Lord over that area of our lives. We have not understood in depth what it means to declare Jesus as Lord in our lives. Consider this scripture to help you understand better.
I Corinthians 8:6 NKJV
[6] Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
Is Jesus really Lord in your life or in words only? Are you living through Christ, following His instructions and directions for your life? You cannot be ashamed. You will not fail and you will not be in lack of anything. Everything that Christ is involved in is well protected, provided for and guaranteed to succeed!
If Jesus is Lord of your life, you are a winner.
