SOS DREAMS WITH SNAKES:
Genesis 3:1-7 NLT
[1] The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” [2] “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. [3] “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’” [4] “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. [5] “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” [6] The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. [7] At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.
The serpent was the shrewdest of all the animals God made and it still is. It deceived Eve and Adam into disobeying God and thus introduced sin into the rest of the world. It is still at work today, working through men and spirits alike, to deceive, corrup, and cause the downfall of men and women with great potential. Whenever you begin to see snakes in your dreams, call for help.
The spirit of the serpent makes sin appealing but truth and simple obedience, unreasonable. It rationalizes simple obedience to the things of God, forcing men and women to compromise and fall short of enjoying the blessings of God. It corrupts and misinterprets the truth to lure people into its grasp and control. It operates often through divination and familiar spirits.
When you begin to dream of seeing snakes, it means deception, temptation, and lying are knocking at your door. When you begin to see them more frequently, it means you are being lied to, being deceived, or you have been contaminated (this will often affect the accuracy of your spiritual gifts). When you see snakes, never take your dream for granted. Call for help.
Do you see snakes in your dreams often? Do they seem friendly and harmless? That is how deception is. It makes wrong doing seem harmless and ordinary. This is the reason why Christ came. To redeem you from sin, all its evils, and empower you to overcome all the works of the devil. In the name of Jesus Christ, bind those deceiving spirits and cast them out of your life and dreams.
Luke 10:17-19 NKJV
[17] Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” [18] And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. [19] Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
