Born for a time like this!: Verse of the Day

BORN FOR A TIME LIKE THIS!

‭‭Esther 4:10-14 NKJV‬‬
[10] Then Esther spoke to Hathach, and gave him a command for Mordecai: [11] “All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that any man or woman who goes into the inner court to the king, who has not been called, he has but one law: put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter, that he may live. Yet I myself have not been called to go in to the king these thirty days.” [12] So they told Mordecai Esther’s words. [13] And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. [14] For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

There is an appointed time for each of us to shine the most in life. If we miss this opportunity to shine by remaining inactive, silent, or uncooperative, we might never get another such opportunity again. Mordecai told Esther that you have to rise up and act for who knows if you came into the kingdom for such a time as this?

When it was time for Jesus to manifest His glory to His disciples, He said it was not time yet! But because His mother insisted, He stepped up and changed water into wine, revealing Himself to His disciples (John 2:1-11). You and I may never be sure when our main season is, but God will use others to place a demand on us.

Will you be willing to step up and shine when your time comes and you are not even sure if it is the right time? Will you trust God to prompt you when your season comes? It is only when we yield to the encouragement of the people God sends to us that we can break free from our fears and biases to serve our generations at the right times. We must be ready to step up in season and even when it seems to be out of season (2 Timothy 4:2).

Those who Step up at a time such as this, are always victorious and successful because God works with them. May you never miss your time to shine.
