Take care of the pennies!: Verse of the Day

TAKE CARE OF THE PENNIES:

Genesis 26:12-14 NLT‬
[12] When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the Lord blessed him. [13] He became a very rich man, and his wealth continued to grow. [14] He acquired so many flocks of sheep and goats, herds of cattle, and servants that the Philistines became jealous of him.

When Isaac sowed in the land of Gerar, he reaped a hundredfold that same year, because God was with him and blessed his efforts. From that time, Isaac began to prosper until he was so prosperous the people around him envied him. May this testimony be replicated in the life of every Believer in Jesus’s name.

Let me say this again. It is possible for every Believer to prosper because that is God’s desire for all of us. The truth though is that not all of us will experience the totality of what God desires because we have different levels of abilities and understanding of His word and plans for us.

Understand this, dear Believer, if you will do all you can to maximize the investments and seeds you sow (through skillful and careful handling), and couple this with good management of your harvest, you will also begin to prosper like Isaac.

Proverbs 27:23-27 NLT
[23] Know the state of your flocks, and put your heart into caring for your herds, [24] for riches don’t last forever, and the crown might not be passed to the next generation. [25] After the hay is harvested and the new crop appears and the mountain grasses are gathered in, [26] your sheep will provide wool for clothing, and your goats will provide the price of a field. [27] And you will have enough goats’ milk for yourself, your family, and your servant girls.

Friends, if we look after the pennies, the pennies will look after us! This is the secret of prosperity. That is, “that none be lost”. Faithful in the little will be made ruler over much. May the Lord grant us understanding of these things in Jesus’s name. Amen!
