God’s presence 1: Verse of the Day

GOD’S PRESENCE 1:

‭Joshua 1:5-9 NLT‬
[5] No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. [6] “Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. [7] Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. [8] Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. [9] This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

The greatest essential in accomplishing our tasks in life, is to have God with us. God said to Joshua “No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.” Friends, we need God’s presence with us in all we do.

Just as God was with Moses and enabled him to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt, through the Red Sea on dry ground, and through the wilderness for forty years, so the Lord promised Joshua.

Friends, the truth is, if God is with you, no one can stand before you. No one can successfully challenge and hinder you from achieving your tasks in life if God is with you. God has promised never to leave us nor forsake us.

Why then, are we so fearful of our enemies, witches, and other spiritual forces? Why do we believe more in the damage evil spirits can do to us instead of believing that God is with us? Do you know that God is with you? Have you learned to walk with Him and experience His presence with you? God’s Word to you is …….

‭Isaiah 43:1-2 NLT‬
[1] But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. [2] When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
