THE BENEFITS OF UNITY:
Psalms 133:1 NKJV
[1] Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
Unity is good and it is pleasant. It is something all of us must desire and work diligently towards. It is good because it promotes peace, progress, and resilience. It creates a pleasant atmosphere for cohesion in marriages, communities and organizations.
Unfortunately, many of us do not see/behold the importance of uniting, otherwise we will be working hard at it and enjoying the benefits thereof. Marriages are not strong and blessed because each party does his/her own thing to the detriment of the union.
How can our families, communities, and nations progress when our leaders have become self-seeking and corrupt? What are we doing as individuals to stop this madness and disunity all around us? Unless we see and understand how good and pleasant our united communities could be, we will not work at it.
Psalms 133:3 NKJV
[3] It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.
Father, open our eyes to see and understand the importance and blessings of Unity and help us to unite appropriately so that we can experience all the blessings you have planned for us in our families, workplaces, and communities, in Jesus’s name. Amen!
