God’s glory fills the temple: Verse of the Day

GOD’S GLORY FILLS THE TEMPLE:

‭II Chronicles 5:11-14 NKJV‬
[11] And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions), [12] and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets— [13] indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, [14] so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.

The manifestation of God’s glory in any place is a powerful experience because it is an indication of God’s presence, seal of approval, and blessings. When the priests stood to praise and magnify God in the newly built temple, God’s glory so filled the temple that the priests could no longer continue to minister to God. May we experience more and more of His presence and glory in our fellowships with one another.

How did they manage to create this atmosphere to host the glory of God? Solomon had followed carefully all the instructions given to him to construct and prepare the temple for God’s use, the priests had sanctified themselves, and they were united in singing to God as one voice. Whenever the atmosphere is right, the glory of God will be made manifest.

Do you want to experience God’s glory?
Have you carefully followed through with the instructions of God? Have you prepared your heart and sanctified yourself? Are you doing all you can to walk in unity with your fellow believers? God will come through for you.

The glory of God will always be made manifest when God’s conditions for that season and moment are met. Let us be diligent in always creating the conducive environment for God to move.
