UNITY KEY TO VICTORY:
Matthew 12:25-30 NKJV
[25] But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. [26] If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? [27] And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. [28] But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. [29] Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. [30] He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.
A united house cannot be easily overcome but a divided house cannot stand. That means a divided house will not be able to withstand even the weakest of attacks. Therefore if a church, family, or a community wants to be successful at anything they attempt to do, they must be united.
Jesus says if a house is divided, it is working against itself and it cannot withstand an external attack. He used the organization of the satanic kingdom as an analogy to show us how important it is to remain united instead of being divided. A strongman (united house or kingdom) can only be defeated if he is bound (disorganized) first before his house/goods can be plundered.
Friends, the truth is, a united team of average footballers will easily defeat a team of highly skilled and distinguished players who are not united (organized). Do you wonder why the devil’s greatest tool is division?
Jesus concluded that anyone who is not with Him (working with Him to unitedly advance His kingdom) is against Him, anyone who is not actively winning souls with Him is actually working against Him.
Are you with him? How often do you win souls or attempt to win souls into His kingdom?
Only those who are with Christ will work as a united team to bring in the harvest of souls into His kingdom.
