GOD SPEAKS IN TONGUES:
I Corinthians 14:20-21 NKJV
[20] Brethren, do not be children in understanding; however, in malice be babes, but in understanding be mature. [21] In the law it is written: “With men of other tongues and other lips I will speak to this people; And yet, for all that, they will not hear Me,” says the Lord.
God speaks to us in tongues! It should be very obvious by this time, to all of us, that God speaks to us individually and to His church so that we may be edified. It is only when we listen with our hearts, the messages received in tongues, that we understand and are edified.
Therefore, the Bible tells us that if any man speaks in tongues, they must pray that they interpret. Beloved, if we pray to God in tongues, we must not be surprised if He speaks back to us in tongues, since prayer is a two way communication. So, when you pray in tongues and get to the point where the tongues you are speaking becomes authoritative and strange to what you normally speak, pray for the interpretation. God is speaking to you!
How often do you pray in tongues? Have you noticed any changes in your tongues from time to time? Do you make an effort to hear back from God when you pray? Your Praying is never complete until you hear from God.
Beloved, God doesn’t want us to be ignorant and immature in these things. That is why He has written them in His Word for us to read and learn. Those who are mature listen when God speaks because they seek diligently for the accurate interpretation.
